Agitation Parameters Scale-Up
Abstract: Scaling up the agitation speed and agitation time for liquids and solutions from lab- to pilot and finally to full-scale tank are a problem prevailing in many industries. Scaling-up rules widely used and simple in form usually include variables that are hard to be measured in experiments, but are easier to be obtained through CFD simulations. So combining scaling-up rules with CFD simulations is an effective and cost-saving way to determine the agitation parameters.
